GitHub export

Your Factorly project is a normal git repository from the very first commit. That means you can take it to GitHub whenever you like and keep building anywhere.

Connect a repository

From the workspace, connect your GitHub account and choose (or create) a repository to push to. Factorly pushes your project there — including its real git history, the same timeline created by your checkpoints. You're not exporting a flattened zip; you're getting genuine commits.

Push whenever you want

After the first push, sync again any time to send your latest work to GitHub. Use it to:

  • back your project up off-platform,
  • collaborate with others through normal git and pull requests,
  • or continue development locally and come back to Factorly when you want the agent again.

No lock-in

This is the whole point: it's your code. Build on Factorly, take it to your own machine, or do both. There's no proprietary format to escape and nothing held hostage — connect a repo, push, and everything is yours.
